Let me introduce myself...My name is Susan Sarnataro. I'm a 24-year old LSU student with a double major in zoology and marine biology. I also breed hedgehogs!
This is Pandora, my first female.
The South African Pygmy Hedgehog is an amazing little insectivore that corners the market on cuteness. Hedgehogs
make wonderful and interesting pets. The first time you hear that little ball of spines 'huff', you will fall in
love. Hedgies do need a gentle and responsible owner, and I do not recommend hedgehogs as pets for children under
